Out?” she asks with her crying stopping for a moment as she starts to shake through all her body.

Yes, you were very aggressive with the guards when they were putting us on the boat. So they knocked you out.” the old man let’s out a light laugh.

The girl’s still shaking and can barely talk. “Were… we… kidnapped?” she asks.

Not Really.” a man responds from the cage in front of hers. He looks the most casual of the bunch, with a well shaven face, short brown hair and definitely the calmest demeanor. “We are prisoners just like you.

Prisoners?” she asks back and with that she gets at cry again. “I don’t know why I’m here, I don’t know… anything.

She has wuja dots on her arms” says the older man. She immediately looks down on her arms, with everyone else around her doing just the same. They see many small, coin-sized, already healing wounds on her forearms.

Were you selling it, or just a user… a smuggler maybe?” the calm man asks her.

She still can’t really talk, but her crying is now up to a hysterical level while she’s still shaking of fear “I… I… don’t… know…” she mumbles.

You’re one of those poor kid’s getting thrown out to the streets of Cronoha to fend for yourselves right? Those streets are very cruel, especially for pretty girls like you.” The calm man ponders, thought the girl is in no condition to answer right now.

The old man hums. “She looks like one of the cartel whores.”

“A what?” The calm raises one eyebrow.

“The skavir cartel takes young boys and girls from small villages mainly in eastern regions. The boys will become their mercenaries, while the girls will be their slaves and… well… let’s say…”

The calm man interrupts him “Of course I know all about the skavir, but they are more like breeding sacks, than whores.”

“Call them whatever you want… poor girls rarely live to see adulthood.” the old man shrugs his shoulders. “Wuja is a good way for them to flee from reality.”

“Yea… and eventually from life too.” The calm man adds.

The girl’s crying softens a bit and she looks up. “I don’t remember… anything…”
